This In-Floor scale is a calibratable platform scale to fit into the ground. The In-Floor scale can be delivered with an optional fitting frame if desired. The In-Floor Scale is calibrated according to calibration class III and permitted to an application in trading for a period of two years. The display cable of the In-Floor Scale has a length of 5 m and features a socket, which makes the cable perfectly mountable into cable pipes without effecting the calibration of the In-Floor Scale. A removable platform facilitates mounting of the In-Floor platform. The display of the In-Floor scale is IP 54 protected and has a carrier on its backside, so that it can be easily mounted onto the wall or to a table. As option you can also purchase a stand for the display of the In-Floor scale. The In-Floor Scale can be purchased in various sizes, from which you can chose. And the various functions of the In-Floor Scale allows an universal application. The In-Floor Scale can be easily integrated into an IT system by any software engineer. Stand
The IP 65 display of the In-Floor Scale features an universal attachment offering the option to mount the display on a wall, a table or on the optionally purchasable approx. 80 cm steel stands.

In order to mount the In-Floor Scale into the ground, the edges need to be secured. This frame can be purchased to fit safety precautions.

Interfaces
Due to its high protection category the In-Floor Scale does not feature any interface. Although there is the option to integrate these interfaces by order. They cannot be mounted subsequently.

Software Procell
The software is able to simulate a manual data feed-in and can transfer the data e.g. straight to Excel with time and date. There is also the option of saving a TXT file in the background. (data cable not included in delivery)

USB stick
If there is no computer or printer to be connected to the In-Floor Scale, the weighing data can be saved with time and date stamp as a txt.-file on a USB stick. The USB stick is to connect to the steel scale via the RS-232 interface. The adapter requires a separate external power source (adapter incl.).

Analogue output 4-20 mA / 0 ... 10 V
The 16 bit analogue output converts the weight value into a mA or V signal, so that e.g. a SPS control system can response to that. Example with 4 ... 20 mA: At 0 kg a signal of 4 mA is sent, while at maximum load a 20 mA signal is released. The 20 mA / 10 V limit can be also customized individually.

Potential-free contacts
This contactor is called in short-terms an OC-contactor. It means that by reaching preset weight limits e.g. MIN / OK / MAX, the scale is able to switch a maximum of three contacts. The switch can be either set as an impulse or a continuous signal.

Signal lights
This signal lamp helps assuring a visible signal system for the whole personnel. If the weight is below the minimal limit, the yellow lamp brightens up, if the values are within the preset thresholds, the green lamp brightens, if the weight trespasses the upper limit, the red light starts brighten.

RS-232 cable
This serial cable has a total length of 1 m, and features the accordant pins 2-3/ 3-2 / 5-5 for a bi-directional communication path of the waterproof steel balance with a computer.
