The CO2 measuring system MF -420IR - CO2 determines by means of a specific infrared sensor the carbon dioxide concentration in the air with a surrounding temperature of -10 to +50 °C. It is robust, compact and maintenance - free in its common application. The enclosure of the CO2 measuring system is made of aluminium and therefore customized for wall-montage. Because the evaluation and processing of the measuring signals follow a digital algorithm and material and construction of the measuring cuvette are novel, the infrared measuring system MF420-IR-CO2 recognizes the carbon dioxide concentration quicker, more accurate and is well-priced compared to common IR systems. The infrared measuring system detects the absolute CO2 concentration in the surrounding air, monitors constantly its own operation and reports malfunctions in hard- and software. The whole measuring range is linear. For power supply there is 24 V direct current acquired. Processing and display of the measuring signals (linear current output, eligible 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V) are integrated in the measuring system. The evaluation and processing of the measuring takes place in a downstreamed device according to its specifications (e.g. ventilation system, PLC, limit monitor, display). For a connection with the Ethernet, if required, a module that transfers the analogue measuring data into the network is available.
