Heating
Mantles
Our heating mantles are devices that are applied in laboratories, in
order to heat up special mediums in glass containers. Due to
variable sizes of these glass containers exact volumes of those
liquid mediums can be heated. The volume range of our heating
mantles of PCE instruments
covers between 100 ml and 10 l. Thus every customer is most likely
to find the proper product. The heating mantles facilitate in
laboratories an exact preparation of samples and by that it is
essential for them to provide a high functionality and accuracy.
Most of the heating mantles of PCE instruments work with
round-bottom flasks, in which the liquid medium, that has to be
tempered, is contained and placed into the heating mantle. Besides a
variable range of sample volumes and sizes of the glass containers,
the temperature can also be alternated at those devices, or at least
the operator can select between different levels of temperature
ranges. If you can't find the heating mantles you are looking for,
please contact us and we will help you find the best solution to
suit your needs by calling our offices on: +44
(0)2380 987030 and our technical staff will advise you
regarding our measuring
instruments. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help
you with the diamond testers, and of course, with the other products
in the field of regulation
and control, and scales and balances.

Further
information about our heating mantles
Heating mantles of PCE instruments are almost all mantled with either
steel or aluminum. Thus all heating mantles have a low heat-up time
and can be activated within short time. Thus the operator saves time
during the preparation of samples or any other form of tempering the
sample. The hating mantles of PCE are principally safe and fulfill
all required standards. Under common circumstances there is no need
to monitor the devices during the tempering process. But it is
self-evident and in the interest of the operator to control heating
mantles with higher tempering and with flammable content. The devices
that are on the market nowadays feature heating elements that are
insulated from leaking fluids. Thus the potential danger of
short-circuits is kept low.
