Counting Scales with Piece Counting Function

Our counting scales meet all the requirements that modern scales need to fulfil. In order to have a highly accurate mean value, it is recommended to carefully choose the right number of items as reference, depending on the overall quantity to be weighed. For example, some of our counting scales can be used for piece counting as well as for professional weighing. Their memory capacity and the power supply by rechargeable batteries make this kind of counting scales an irreplaceable tool for professional use, particularly for accurate stocktaking. For the piece counting function, it is necessary to determine the real weight of a certain quantity of items. The piece weight can be entered by weighing the item or by entering the weight via the numerical keypad, depending on the model. If required, an optional ISO calibration certificate can be purchased for some calibratable models. Counting scales can be powered via the mains 240 V or by (rechargeable) batteries. Battery powered scales work autonomously. Counting scales can be used in industry as well as in commerce and professional field. All the products are calibrated before being delivered. Upon your request we can perform an official calibration, a re-calibration or a fitting of the counting scales. Below, you can see some examples of counting scales for professional use.

Counting scales are needed for annual stocktaking and are much more efficient compared to counting small pieces such as screws, nuts or washers by hand. When using our counting scales, you will only need to place a small amount of pieces (usually 10 or 20 pieces) on the scales and the scales will the calculate their real weight and use it as a basis for piece counting. Some of our counting scale models (like PCE-CBS) have additional functions which can make your work much easier. Counting scales should be chosen according to the minimum weight of the piece you wish to count by using the piece counting function. PCE Instruments offers models with milligram ranges but also with ton ranges. In order to choose the appropriate counting scales, it is important to bear in mind that, for instance, counting scales with an internal resolution of only 10 grams will logically not be able to weigh pieces of 0.1 grams.
