Recording Scales
Recording scales are scales that safe the determined weight in order to process these data. The storage options of a recording scale can have various natures. Thus for example depositing the captured data on an internal data storage of the scales (ALIBI storage) or on external data medium (SD, USB or computer). Due to constantly changing requirements for recording scales our recording scales follow the way of using external data carriers. Thus the majority of our scales feature an RS-232 interface, allowing a smooth communication with any computer. Thus those data can be stored without further ado via a special software on a computer and be processed. Our scale software allows a real-time measurement on a computer and depending on the weighing data, they can also be saved with a date stamp as a TXT file on the computer. The TXT file provides the advantage of being an uncomplicated file format and by that e.g. can be converted into an Excel file. For saving the weighing data straight to e.g. Excel the ProCell software can be applied. This software was developed in order to integrate our scales on a low-cost level into already existing  software systems, since a keyboard entry (such as a hand scanner) of the scale data can be simulated and thus a programmer is no longer required. Furthermore certain selected scale models offer the option to safe the captured data via an adapter straight to an USB memory card. Thus a computer is not necessarily needed and the scale data can be evaluated later on. Often the saving scales are applied for system solutions, in order to facilitate and refine certain working processes. A broad range of recording scales make it all possible. PCE-SOFT-SC

Software written in German for recording scales incl. RS-232 computer data cable. The software is designed to transfer the weighing results with time and date to a computer. The data are then stored onto a TXT file. In case you have a USB interface at the computer or laptop, you need to use a USB adapter. The PCE-SOFT-SC software is compatible with any scale listed above.

PCE-ProCell

The software of the storing scales runs in the background and is designed to transfer the data into systems where a keyboard entry is possible, such as e.g. Excel, UPS, Word, DHL, SAP etc., since the software simulates a keyboard entry. In case your computer features an interface at the computer or laptop, you need to use a USB adapter. This PCE-ProCell software is only compatible with the scales that are able to store data on USB memory cards. 

PCE-USM

This adapter is to connect to RS-232 interfaces of some of the recording scales listed above. Only the USB recording scales are compatible with the PCE-USM. It is designed to facilitate storing the recorded data from the recording scales straight to a USB memory card. The PCE-USM requires an additional power supply, which can be only performed by an external adapter or by remodeling the recording scales it can be also supplied with power by the recording scale's own adapter.
