Temperature regulators Temperature regulators can perform both easy and difficult regulation works when they are connected to different sensor types. Temperature regulators can process signals from resistance sensors or thermo-elements. There are different temperature regulators: 2 or 3 points, or as a continuous regulator to perform On/Off functions or a continuous regulation. Temperature regulators also have a relay regulation of the quantity as well as other alarms which allow the user to connect for instance 4 different visible or audible alarms. Temperature regulators are programmed by the built-in keys and values are shown on the LCD display. Some temperature regulators have also digital indicators with bar-graph which enables to get an overview of the quantity. Optionally, temperature regulators can be connected to a data logger to record normalized signals. Below, you will find temperature regulators which contain all the mentioned properties. Temperature regulators are an important section of control systems. Temperature regulators can detect current values in a medium and change the temperature until the reference value is reached. The most common
and easy version of temperature regulators is the thermostat which maintains the reference value of temperature as a constant value. There are temperature regulators with different sensors
used to maintain a constant temperature level. For example, a thermo-element can be connected to a simple regulator for a continuous measurement of the temperature of a liquid. Temperature regulators process a measured signal (the reference value) and regulate for instance the water temperature in a heating unit when it is on/off. While dealing with temperature, other quantities are also considered. For example, environmental temperature affects temperature regulators which should compensate this disturbing quantity and offset it if necessary. However, in this case 2-point temperature regulators must be replaced by 3-point temperature regulators. 3-point temperature regulators can perform many different operations, as for instance they can check 2 temperature points and at the same time influence on the process by heating or cooling the medium. To ensure an accurate temperature regulation, continuous regulators can be used. Continuous temperature regulators are continuously checking temperature. Therefore, continuous temperature regulators are more accurate than other regulator types.
