PCE-TC 6 Thermal Camera Thermal camera with telescopic lens, comes with software
|
The core element of the PCE-TC 6 thermal camera is its uncooled focal plane array with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels. The thermal camera is for detecting high temperatures and has been designed to be ergonomic, thereby allowing the user to operate it with only one hand. As it only weighs 800g, it is ideal for analyzing installations and construction works from a distance where a typical thermal camera lens will offer an image that is too small to provide sufficient data. Another advantage of this feature of the PCE-TC 6 is that it can provide safety to the user by allowing measurements at a greater distance from heavy machinery. The 3.5" LCD, which is unique for a product in this price-range, is a solid help to the user. The PCE-TC 6 thermal camera offers a temperature range of -10°C to 250°C, with a resolution of 0.15°C. The camera's colour display can move the two cursors on different points and automatically read the corresponding temperature. This thermal camera also provides the user with the possibility to automatically locate and view the hot spot and cold spot in the image and it can also measure differential temperature. With these functions, the user can immediately locate irregularities and take according measures while on the job. The integrated laser pointer also allows the user to accurately target the area needed to be measured and to capture the best possible image. Images that are saved to the thermal camera are stored in its SD memory card and can be transferred to a computer for further analysis. Continuous measurements can be taken if the device is connected to a computer using the USB port. Software is included with the camera, which allows the user to not only view and analyze images, but to generate reports. A thermal camera with less features and functions can be found here. You will find an overview of thermal cameras at the following link: thermal cameras.
