Basic Scales

All types of scales for kitchen usage can be found within our basic scales section. Basic scales possess many advantages  including their ease of use and a tare function which makes it easy to put together ingredients for recipes. There are five different series of basic scales which are available. They can be powered by batteries or by connecting to the mains electricity. They have weight range up to 150 kg, and a resolution between 0.01 and 50 g. Some models have an optional software kit which allows to transfer data to computers. Apart from being used in the kitchen, these scales can be used in sport, for example, the PCE-TS 150 series can be applied for weighing athletes for competitions. All our scales are calibrated. Basic scales can have an optional laboratory ISO calibration done upon request. This would ensure consistently accurate results. A classic usage of the basic scales is weighing fruits in the kitchen. It can also be used for more advanced activities such as weighing construction component (screws or glue). Due to their high level of quality, basic scales can also be used in laboratories, for quality control or in secondary schools or higher education for science classes or even in research and development.
