On our web-page you will find both, mechanical and digital paper balances, that can be used by anyone who needs to obtain the weight of a sheet  of paper in g/m² (in grams per square meter). Three kinds of paper balances are available:
- Mechanical paper balances with weighing ranges up to 900 g/m²;
- Digital paper balances (2 models) with display to show the weight of the surface of paper in g/m² or in g.
With the help of our mechanical paper balances you may quickly get in a fast and efficient way the weight of papers, cartons and boxes. On the other hand, our digital paper balances can be used as an equipment for carrying out different tasks in the laboratory. For instance, you can weigh papers, floor-tiles or fabrics....in grams per square meter. Paper balances are delivered with two patterns (to get accurate measurements of thin papers). Paper balances are able to determine the weight of many materials such as fabric, gum, leather, felt, tiles, etc ... Both PCE-DMS 200 and PCE-LSZ 200C series paper balances show the weight in grams per square meter of material. In order to place the exact amount of 100 cm² on our paper balances we recommend the use of sample cutters to get reproducible results. Sample cutters help you to save time as well as they guarantee the homogeneous size of samples (100 cm²).
