On this website, you will find analytical balances which support highly accurate measurement. The precision reaches up to 0.01 mg. If you need more accurate balances, they can also be requested. Our analytical balances can be calibrated, delivered with calibration weights or purchased with optional windscreen made of plastic. Thanks to interfaces as the RS-232 interface and optional software, data transfer and further analysis is enabled. Our analytical balances support different functions as for example the automatic adjustment of weight, piece counting, ISO GLP protocol or tare-function. Moreover, many analytical balances come with mains adaptor. Analytical balances can be ISO calibrated and can therefore be applied in laboratories, industrial production and quality assurance.

The previously mentioned balances are only a selection of balances which help to analyze. Therefore, not all of those balances can be applied as classic analytic balances. Normally, analytical balances come with a sensitivity of less than 0.1 mg. The indicated measurement is the value of at least two measurements with sufficient repeatability (factor r). Since electronical analytical balances possess a solid casing, they can usually protect from vibrations which occur because of air breath. Shock absorbers or calibration programs can also help to prevent measuring errors which occur due to sudden movements. Analytical balances are mostly applied in the field of industry, quality control or product development. Moreover, they are also to be found in research and development, hospitals, technical colleges, universities, but especially in laboratories. Analytical balances are instruments which impress with their high quality and precision of 0.1 mg (for example the PCE-AB series). The PCE-VXI 60/220 is a balance with a reading capacity of only 0.01 mg. In case that your needs require analytical balances with a resolution of only 0.001 mg, you should look for analytical balances which are as well designed for the capture of evaporation of liquids. In addition, analytical balances possess protections against air breath and a level to ensure they are portioned correctly.

On the image on the left hand side, an analytical balance with a weight is to be seen. The weight is applied for making automatic adjustments to analytical balances. The adjustment happens automatically, e.g. every hour or if a change of temperature of ±1°C occurs. This features guarantees the high accuracy of analytical balances. After the start of analytic balances, an internal check of all the functions runs which is processed by an electronic component and made by the internal adjustment weight. Furthermore, ISO certification according to DIN ISO 9000 can be purchased.

Verification: according to CE certifications, analytical balances should be verified in one of the following cases (as we have just stated, verification can be done by an authorized verification office or by PCE Group):
   a) In trade where deals the price of the product depends on the weight.
   b) In the field of medicine production in pharmacies, as well as in the detailed analysis in medical laboratories and pharmaceuticals.
   c) For concrete fees, tariffs or official fines, for technical expertise in court cases.
   d) For manufacturing packaging.
In case that you need further information about the verifying of analytical balances for example when you are not sure if you need a verification or not, call the Verifications office of your country. The verification of our analytical balances can happen directly when the device is purchased or when it is sent for periodic verifications. If balances are verified once, they should not be recalibrated with the help of a calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, where every further verification should be done once a year.
