Laboratory Scales |
|||||||
Our laboratory scales are well-known for their high resolution and accuracy. Weighing plates of laboratory scales are consist of stainless steel. Tarring function can be used very often. Laboratory scales are available with ISO calibration certificate or verification certificate (or with both requirements). Our laboratory scales can be used in laboratories, production, quality control, etc. Laboratory scales possess a lot of functions such as: recipe making function, piece counting function, percent calculation function, etc. Laboratory scales can easily and accurately calculate the weight of the items. All our laboratory scales can easily be operated by everyone. Furthermore we can say that nearly everyone is able to find the perfect weighing equipment from our laboratory scales. This is because the simple fact that we offer scales with different operating modes. Many of them show different dimension units like mg, g, and kg. The small size, usability together with their high resolution and wide weight range are the advantages of most of our laboratory scales. We also offer paper scales for laboratory purposes. The paper scales are high precision/resolution devices for the determination of the basis weight (in relation to a square meter of a material). This is the most accurate way to determine basis paper/tissue weight. Our laboratory scales are available with 2 or 3 years guarantee (depending on the model). Laboratory scales are delivered with a network component of 240 V, however, they can be also powered by batteries (except for mechanical devices). Our laboratory scales often come with the feature that they are also able to determine the humidity of the product that has been put inside the laboratory scales in order to analyze its weight. Laboratory scales with weight range in milligrams usually have an internal calibration device so the adjustment of the scale is carried out by means of an internal calibration weight, therefore an external calibration weight will not be necessary. Many of the laboratory scales have an RS-232 interface for data to be transferred to a PC. If you can't find the laboratory scales you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution which suits your needs: UK customers +44(0) 23 809 870 30 / US customers (561) 320-9162. Our technical staff will advise you regarding our products. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the laboratory scales, and of course, with the other products in the field of regulation and control, and measuring instruments. Many laboratory scales are used not only in laboratories but they can be widely used in professional sector. Almost all laboratory scales have a piece counting function or a percent calculation function (percentage function shows the variation in relation to the weight of the corresponding reference). On our website, you will be able to get official control certificates as well as calibration certificates (only for calibrated laboratory scales). Bellow, you can see some examples of the professional appliance of laboratory scales. |

Laboratory scales have become very important during the latest years even for small companies. Some years ago, laboratory scales were much more expensive than today. PCE-LSM series laboratory scales are very particular because of their automatic function to determine density (with the help of determination of density device). So, with PCE-LSM series laboratory scales you will be able to get results of 200 grams with a resolution of 0,001 grams, of 2000 grams with a resolution of 0,01 grams and of 6000 grams with a resolution of 0,5 grams. Nowadays, many of the companies, which manufacture laboratory scales, have to be certified to meet DIN ISO 9000 standard (quality management system). Quality management is mainly carried out with the help of laboratory scales. In order to fulfill this requirement, almost all digital laboratory scales have an interface which guarantees making of protocols with the weighing details by means of a printer or computer. Especially those laboratories that deal with very important samples that are needed for certain experimental series need to have professional, long-lasting and highly-accurate laboratory scales. |

Verification: To meet with the standard, scales must be verified when they are used for one of the following purposes: a) In trade relationships, when the price of the product is determined by its weight. b) To
produce pharmaceutical drugs in as well as making a detailed analysis in medical or pharmaceutical laboratories. c) For
official activities such as determining rates or sanctions. d) For production of packages. If the additional information about verification of platform scales is required, or if you are not sure whether you need a verified scale, you can contact your local authorized verification centre. Verification of laboratory scales (only for selected models), can be done when scales are ordered or they can be sent for a periodical verification. Once an official verification has been done, laboratory scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but every other verification is valid only for one year and must be done annually by the authorized verification centre. In addition to the optional verification certificates we also offer software to some of our laboratory scales. With this software you will be able to analyze the results our laboratory scales have given you. This makes it a lot easier to make a graphical analysis of test series that have been made with the laboratory scales. |
