Tabletop Scales
We offer you a wide range of tabletop scales such as: scales with electronic platforms, scales for recipes, counting scales and also laboratory scales. Tabletop scales can be widely used in professional sphere. Certain additional devices can be applied with the corresponding tabletop scales: external printer, devices to measure from below, tripods and systems for measuring density. For the tabletop scales with a RS-232 interface models a software is available to transfer data to a computer to work online. Although tabletop scales have traditionally been known under this name they can be used in many different fields. In the general overview of our scales and balances you will find many different kinds of tabletop scales. For instance, digital tabletop scales are also found among package scales, tabletop scales as well as platform scales. If you have not found the tabletop scale you are looking for yet or you need information about our additional devices for the tabletop scales our engineers are available to help you to learn more about our scales and balances and find the model you need. Tabletop scales are very important for the actual economy. They are used in industry, at universities, in laboratories, private hospitals and all the other establishments where research and development are made. Different components for tabletop scales are available, according to the customer's needs: scales to weigh packages, to mix recipes or even hopper scales. We are available to help you to learn more and find the scales and balances that you need. For instance, a register of data is sometimes required according to the DIN ISO 9000 standard. Data can be directly transferred to a PC through the software (next image) to be processed, printed or registered with the date and hour. As many of the computers do not have RS-232 interface, we offer you an optional adapter for the USB interface.
Below you can find a selection of different optional components you can request for tabletop scales: Software for tabletop scales Adapter from RS-232 to USB PCE-BP1 Printer ISO Calibration Certificate

According to the DIN ISO 9000 (quality assurance) a laboratory calibration (including the calibration documentation) or a verification can be performed. This can be carried out by the PCE-Group company. All our tabletop scales come ENAC certified. If you wish to obtain an ENAC certificate, contact your local authorised laboratory. Verification: According to the CE standard, all tabletop scales must be verified when they are used for one of the following functions: a) In trade relations, when the price of the product is determined by its weight. b) To make medicine in pharmacy as well as detailed analysis in medical or pharmaceutical laboratories. c) Official activities such as determining rates or sanctions. d) For the production of packages. If you require additional information about verification of tabletop scales, or you are not sure if you need a verified scale, you can contact your local authorised Verification Centre. Verification of tabletop scales, only for those that can be verified, can be done when scales are ordered or they can be sent for a periodical verification. Once an official verification has been done tabletop scales cannot be recalibrated by using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but each following validation is good for one year and must be done annually by the authorised verification centre
