The Coating Thickness Gauge PT-FN-3 is a portable device for fast and accurate determination of, for instance, colour coating thickness. This Coating Thickness gauge can acquire all lacquer, colours and galvanic coatings on iron / steel as well as on non-ferrous metals and on antistatic steels. Just place the measuring instrument on the surface to acquire lacquer thickness via the integrated sensor. The coating thickness gauge is designed for rough application as well as for measurements in a laboratory or in receiving control. The user receives clear and comprehensible instructions on the display for the coating thickness gauge in German, English, Croatian etc… (language selectable). Measuring failures that appear due to ambiguous information can be almost excluded. The probe construction guarantees careful measurements even for high-gloss lacquered parts and smooth coatings. Due to the low and equal tracking force of the sensor the surface remains spared of scratches and imprints. The processing of data is as easy as measurement. With the Bluetooth ® interface for data transmission the data can be transmitted from the measuring instrument to, for example, a laptop.
