In many applications the benefits of laser have to do with its physical properties such as the coherence, high monochromatic and the ability to achieve extremely high powers as for instance in the field of medicine. We should take several precautions when dealing with these laser types (such as goggles, danger indicators and any other precautions seen fit by risk assessment).
