Gas Meters At PCE Instruments you will find professional gas meters for daily company use. Here you will find gas meters that meet industry standards relating to personal safety and that are mainly used to detect and measure levels of methane, hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, oxygen and 50 other gases. The auto-calibration function allows for easy calibration of the gas meter. Some of them also possess the ability to store values and can later transfer data to a computer. One accessory is the manual aspirator, with this device, you can draw gas directly into the meter via a 2m long tube with which you will be able to measure gas levels without having to be in direct contact to the gas source or to be able to determine the levels of gas in places that are difficult to access. Furthermore, we have a series of fixed installation meters available you can use independently or in conjunction with a gas detection installation. These meters can provide readings with or without a display, via data output. You can also calibrate, certify the detectors and later recalibrate and have regular annual maintenance. If you don't find the gas meters you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution to suit your needs by calling our offices on: UK customers +44(0) 23 809 870 30 / US customers (561) 320-9162 and our technical staff will advise you regarding our
measuring instruments. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the gas meters, and of course, with the other products in the field of
regulation and control, and scales and balances.

ATEX production standards (officially know as "ATEX 95" for Article 95 in the EG document for the free movement of products) of the European Parliament and the European Council of State members for gas meters and protective systems to be used in dangerous environments, have been put in place to include products used in these sectors. This standard includes non-electrical devices for the first time, as moving parts can ignite due to unforeseen overheating. The purpose of the standard is to protect people who work in environments where there is a risk of explosion. The standard contains, in appendix II, the basic requirements for the health and safety that the manufacturer must have in place to and should check with the corresponding EC regulations.
