The laser fixed target makes it possible to get a better reflection from a long distance to the specific target. (It is recommended from 40-50 meters).	If you wish to get a better view of the target, laser distance meters should have a telescopic sight integrated. (If they do not have any)	Laser distance meters operate with Class II laser. In general there is no  danger using this laser. Goggles can be used to view the laser point properly.

Laser Distance Meters: Class types: Our devices operate with laser Class II. Here we will give you information about three laser types. Laser Class I is a low power laser, you can look at this laser for hours without damage to the retina. In theory there is some danger with this laser type, however, it is well encapsulated in its case and there is not any direct contact (this laser type does not have any compact disc for instance). Laser Class II are visible lasers (i.e. a colour laser) up to a power of  3 to 10 W for all wavelengths. This laser Class II would be dangerous for human eyes but nature has adapted human’s eyes to the sunlight which would be classed as a laser Class II due to its power. Our eyelids provide exceptional protection from lasers of Class II grade. The following laser, Class III is divided into two groups: a and b. Lasers from Class IIIa are visible and Lasers Class IIIb are invisible. These lasers in Class III can be found in a wide range of applications in any sector of modern society including diverse fields such as consumer electronics, information technology (IT), analysis in science, medical diagnostics, as well as in the machining, welding or cutting systems in both industrial and military sectors. In many applications the benefits of laser have to do with its physical properties such as the coherence, high monochromatic and the ability to achieve extremely high powers as for instance in the field of medicine. We should take several precautions when dealing with these laser types (such as goggles, danger indicators and any other precautions seen fit by risk assessment).
