The
explosives detector GAZEX is designed to measure explosive gas limits in
hazardous environments. The explosives detector proves itself as a handy and
small device to measure flammable gasses with a maximum of three measuring
ranges. There are nowadays many production areas, in which flammable
gasses are produced, stored or burned. Those can be monitored by the
explosives detector, since most of these gasses are inodorous and by that might
not be perceptible for humans without any devices. Due to the fact, that even little amounts of
those gasses might lead to explosions, it is important to detect those amounts by means of
the explosives detector GAZEX. The explosives detector works by measuring
the recalescence and heat conductivity. Due to a single-key-navigation the
explosives detector is a device that is easy to handle, but at the
same time, it covers a large application range. Thus the display of the
explosives detector can be easily set up. The explosives detector displays
limits, current values and battery state. The explosives detector has to be charged
at the docking station what is included in the delivery. In case there are more than one
devices to charge at their docking station, a maximum of ten of those stations
can be operated at the same time by connecting them and using only one adapter
to charge them simultaneously. Typical application ranges of the explosives detector
are mainly gas supplies, heating units, chemical industries, fire fighting,
refineries and any other conditions, under which explosive gasses might emerge. If there are any questions about this Explosives

Information regarding the Explosives Detector GAZEX
|
The
measuring principle of recalescence can be used for LEL- and leakage- measuring. Therefore the measured gas is to be
conducted to a heated measuring element of the explosives detector, where it
is burned catalytically. During its inflammation, the electrical resistance of
the measuring element alternates, induced by the heat-up. That alternation of
the electric resistance of the measuring element is proportional to the
gas concentration, and is measured by the explosives detector. For a
measurement following the principle of heat conductivity, the sampled gas is conducted to a
measuring element, that is heated. Depending on its concentration, the gas
either cools the measuring element down or heats it up, due to
which the electric resistance alternates. Afterwards that change is recorded
by the explosives detector. Thereby the alternation of the electrical
resistance is proportional to its gas concentration.
