The thermal box PCE-TBOX 2 consists of a case and a four-channels data logger powered by batteries to be used to measure high temperatures.  Its case (which can resist up to 350 °C for 25 min), up to 4 external thermo-elements (J, K, T, E, R, S, B or N type) as well as its semiconductor sensor allow the use of the thermal box PCE-TBOX 2 for many different applications. The non-volatile memory ensures a high security of the data. Additionally, this thermal box has a great storage capacity of up to 26,214 measurement values even when the battery is dead. The data logger can be adjusted by means of a computer starting and stopping it. The user-friendly optional software can automatically recognize when the data logger is connected to evaluate and test diverse measurement values. Data is registered with date and time and can be displayed in various measurement units. Additionally, you can program the measurement quota (from 5 seconds up to 12 hours) and a lagging date and time of up to 6 moths via the software. A digital calibration can be carried out by means of the software. Date and time of the calibration will be automatically registered. To ensure a high accuracy, the thermal box PCE-TBOX 2 can be delivered with an ISO calibration certificate to meet the standards (optional). Professional software for programming the device and for analysing data on computers. The software has the following features:

1. Simultaneous analysis display of the registered data (easy to change to manual operation by pressing a key).

2. Real time registration: Presentation of measurement values in real time when values are simultaneously stored.

3. Graphic cursor: With only one click on the graph, the time, measurement value, parameter or instrument number are displayed.

4. Value chart: Continuous access to the chart for a detailed representation of the measurement values.

5. Scale: An automatic scale function allows all the values to be displayed. The scale can also be used manually.
   
   
    

6. Format: Many different parameters can be adjusted individually such as: the color of the presentation, the properties of the lines, etc.

7. Statistical functions: With only one click you can produce and display: maximum, minimum and average values, variations, etc.

8. Exportation of data: A series of data can be exported to other programmes such as MS Excel (with only one click).

9. Interface: The port and all the connections are automatically detected.

10. Lay out: Measurement quota, start and finish time are very easy to adjust.

11. Printing: Values can be printed as a chart or as a graph.
