Ultrasonic leak detector PCE-ULD 1 Ultrasonic leak detector for vehicle body / determines quickly and easily the causes of entry of water or wind noise in vehicle bodies
The Ultrasonic Leak Detector PCE-ULD 1 has been designed to detect ultrasonic sources. Gas leaks or air pressure systems can be ultrasonic sources that the Ultrasonic Leak detector PCE-ULD 1 can easily measure. When gas leakage occurs the detector generates ultrasonic noises. The Ultrasonic Leak Detector converts these sounds at a frequency audible to humans. The human ear can not hear sounds above 20 kHz. Even tiny leakages from compressed air systems or gas facilities that cause turbulence generate ultrasonic noise. The ultrasonic leak detector PCE-ULD 1 detects these sounds and leads to the location of the leak. The ultrasonic leak detector has an optical and acoustical (headphones) detector and a slider to adjust the sensitivity. Leak detector by ultrasound for bodies of vehicles The leak detector by ultrasound determines quickly and accurately the causes of entrance of water or wind noises in car bodies, boots or other cavities. Operation of the detector: - The ultrasound waves cannot cross crystal nor metal. - A filtration to the outside, for example from the interior of a vehicle, can only take place through air. - The transmitter is placed inside the vehicle. Next, the receiver goes around the outside of the body.
