Due to a simple montage the wind speed sensor can be connected to a large number of meters. The wind speed sensor starts its measurement with the slightest wind movement and shows those measuring values at real-time speed. Due to its design, the wind speed sensor withstands even roughest weather conditions. Since the wind speed sensor is made of a metal alloy, which resists any kind of oxidation, so that it prevents rust. Seals that are installed at particularly delicate spots protect the wind direction sensor from penetration of water and any other particles, such as fine dust. The wind speed sensor PCE-FST-200-201 series is a 3-cup anemometer, which registers even lowest wind speeds, even though they might be at less than 0.5 mps. There are two different versions of the wind speed sensor purchasable, one of which has a 4 ... 20 mA output, while the other one features a 0 ... 10 V DC output.
