This precise force meter is designed to measure tensile and compressive forces and there are two different models purchasable. Depending on the measuring range, the force meter for tensile and compressive force is equipped with an internal or external dynamometric cell. The force meter for tensile and compressive force is a portable precise force meter, providing also the option to integrate it into test benches. For force measurement above 500 N the force meter for tensile and compressive force features an external dynamometric cell attached to a 3 m cable, which can be also mounted into a test bench. The force meter features two measuring speeds, 10 Hz and 40 Hz, that can be set. Those allow very precise real-time records of tensile and compressive force. The force meter for tensile and compressive force provides the option to store manually or automatically the collected data at an internal data storage on a Mini SD memory card or straight to a computer, in order to evaluate them later on. To rate the measurement of the tensile and compressive force, the force meter provides the option of an integrated statistical evaluation. Therefore the relevant information such as number of measurements, total force, mean force, max., min. and individual value and are illustrated in a histogram as well as diagram. The PCE-FB series force meter for tensile and compressive force will be delivered including this software. It allows reading the force meter and controlling it. The performed test measurement with this force meter shows a tensile and compressive force with preset thresholds. Underneath there is a statistical evaluation of the collected data shown, such as min, max, mean value etc. and the settings of the force meter are displayed as well.

Optional accessories
- ISO calibration certificate
For companies that wish to incorporate the device into their internal quality control tools or for annual recalibrations. The ISO certificate includes a calibration and a document containing all the readings.

- RS-232-USB-Adapter
In case your PC or Portable uses USB-Interfaces, you can use the adaptor in connection with the standard RS-232 cable. A small software (covering all the actual drivers) is included.

- Printer
Measured results can be recorded or printed as a report. In such report, data, time and the measurement description are included.

- Test position and adapter plates
As our test positions are designed to be used with different force meter models, adapter plates are required to ensure that the force meter is fixed to the test position.

- Test bench
The force meter can be combined with any of the three test benches we have available. Two test positions are equipped with a crank and other one has a motor. The effective use of the test position is in daily testing of materials in a laboratory and to maintain the same conditions, eliminating the possibility of human error.
