Gas Detector MX6 iBRID (H2S, O2, CO2, LEL) Das detector for universal use for the protection of people that simultaneously measures up to 6 gases, with memory and optional software / for the measurement of carbon dioxide, sulfur hydrogen, inflammable gases and oxygen
|
The gas detector MX6 iBRID is a portable detector that measures H2S, O2, CO2, LEL, etc. It was developed to take measurements for example in garbage dumps, factories, canalisations, culverts, in residual water channels, petroliferous platforms, in boats and any place in which an elevated risk of explosion exists. The gas detector graphical colour screen LCD offers an automatic backlight and allows reading in poor light conditions. The current measurement values, as well as the measurement values registered in the memory can be displayed as a graph on the colour screen. This allows the portable gas detector to quickly allocate the oscillations of concentration of detected gases to the time flow of the measurement period. The alarm is audible (95 dB) and visible (the screen and the LED in the superior part of the equipment will flash). In addition, the colour of the letters in the screen changes to red. In the internal memory of the portable gas detector, all the measured values and warnings are saved every minute. The size of the memory is big enough to be able to retain the data of one year. Through an optional charger with a data transmission function you can transfer data from the memory of the portable gas detector to your PC for a later evaluation. The portable gas detector MX6 iBRID can be equipped with 25 different gas sensors of which maximum 6 sensors can work simultaneously. The optional electrical pump for the portable gas detector allows you to assess any dangerous gases that might be in enclosed spaces before entering. The suction power of the pump allows you to draw in gases using a tube of up to 30 m. There are multiple warning pilots in the superior part of the detector that function as visible alarms. All the measurements and the warnings can be gathered in the memory of 525,600 values for their later transmission to a PC by means of the interface (and software that you can acquire optionally upon request). In addition to the acoustic and visual alarm (flashing pilot), the gas detector reproduces a text warning for each channel when an alarm threshold is surpassed. We have another gas detector with an acoustic alarm which only detects one type of gas. If you are interested in a detector which can simultaneously measure different types of gases, click on the following link to see the Tetra, Triple Plus and Triple Extra. At this link you will find a general overview of different gas meters.

Maintenance and recalibration |
The calibration of the apparatus can be made regularly by means of the automatic function of calibration or from the PC with the Windows compatible software. You can also send the gas meter to us (according to the internal ISO manual of the company) for its maintenance and recalibration (i.e. 1 or 2 times a year). The gas meter will be disassembled, cleaned and recalibrated. We will inform you if the sensor can not be recalibrated or if its operation life has already ended. You will be able to find replacement sensors in our online shop.

This portable gas detector is authorised according to ATEX standards. This means that the ATEX product directive (also known unofficially as “ATEX 95” due to the article 95 of the EC Treaty for the Free Traffic of Merchandise) of the European Parliament and the permanent Committee for the alignment of the legislations of the member states for protection gauges and systems for use in potentially explosive atmosphere fixes the norms for the introduction of products in the market that will be used in such atmospheres. In appendix II, the directive contains the basic standards of health and security that must be observed by the manufacturer and certified by an evaluation procedure of conformity. Our gas detector fulfills all the present norms of the EU.

DS2 Base Station
The base station DS2 allows you to automatically calibrate the gas detector MX6 iBRID. The base station DS2 offers 3 connections for different calibration bottle sizes of individual or multiple gas. This allows calibration in only one step with different sensors. The PC saves and administer the data with which it creates the calibration protocols. Another great advantage is the DS2 base station offers connection to the Internet. It is possible to administer equipment placed in different locations from a central point using the Internet.
