Calibration
and certification of humidity meters |
Humidity meters can come with a ISO
calibration certificate. Within this certificate you will
receive a control protocol with your company details included in
the laboratory calibration if you wish to include humidity
meters in your internal set of control tools. By means of the
ISO certificate, humidity meters can recover the national
standard. More information regarding calibration:
Calibration: Control of the
measuring magnitudes correction in relation to measuring
instruments without the interference of the measuring system.
Also, a determination of the systematic deviation in relation to
the real value of the measuring magnitude.
Calibration Certificate: It
certifies technical properties of the measuring
instruments as well as the possibility of recovering the
national standard.
Calibration interval: For
exact and permanent measurements, the diverse measuring
instruments have to be periodically tested or calibrated. This
period of time is called calibration interval. It is almost
impossible to determine the calibration period of any measuring
instrument. To know the calibration interval it is necessary to
consider the following:

Measuring
magnitude and margin of permitted tolerance

Efficiency of
the measuring instruments
-
Frequency
-
Environmental conditions
-
Stability of
the previous calibrations
-
Required
accuracy
-
Determination
of the company quality assurance.
This means that the customer has to be responsible of
establishing and controlling calibration interval. We recommend
to establish the calibration interval between 1 and 3 years. We
offer to the customer our help to solve problems and technical
questions.
