What should be considered dealing with non-contact temperature measurement?
Measured temperatures are mainly surface temperatures, that is an optical measurement process. Infrared thermometers should have some space with the measured object. Infrared rays can go through glass, as visible light does. That means that it is not possible to measure through a glass using standard infrared thermometers.
