Use and handling of the Noise
Analyser (how to measure noises) |
In order to get proper results
with noise analyser, it is necessary to consider some
specifications which are listed below:
- Noise Analyser have to be used
when environmental conditions are dry. In the working place
these conditions have to be the same.
- Noise Analyser
have to be
placed within a proper distance from houses, facades and
other reflective elements.
- Noise Analyser
will be
preferably used when the wind speed is lower than 5m/s (for
wind speed over 10 m/s the protection against wind noises
has to be assembled)
-
The microphone of the sound level meters have to be located
approx.1,3 - 1,5 m on the ground and orientated to the noise
source.
Sound level meters have to be calibrated (these meters
come with a standard calibration done. After a year, they
have to be recalibrated. Recalibration can be carried out by
an internal calibration or by an additional acoustic
calibrator) - All the
acoustic conditions have to be documented (kind of
instrument, place of the measurement, interval of
measurement, wind force, wind direction, temperature,
humidity, ground, calibration details, number and
measurement duration, description of sound).
