Use of Stroboscopes |
Stroboscopes
are mainly used to measure revolutions as it can be seen in
the adjacent image.
Stroboscopes are often used to measure rotation velocity of
components or the compensation of revolutions in rapid
traverse mechanisms in relation to the process controller or
with the revolutions displayed on the digital display
derived from the electric drive.
Besides, ripple of the concentric system is checked.
Apart from determining revolutions, stroboscopes can be also
used to display minimum errors in diverse processes such as
pulsations. The next image was taken during the screening of
a paper machine. All the screening suction conveyors and
bars work properly except for one of them. Thanks to the
stroboscopes the source of error can be discovered.
