The 1-phase power-analyser C.A 8230 is designed specifically for the electrical trade, for installers and customer engineers. The 1-phase power-meter is due to its large variety of measuring facilities applicable for training- and educational purposes as well. Being perfectly user-friendly the 1-phase power-meter is an outstanding equipment for controlling of electrical installations, especially if they are provided with vast power- electronic systems. The instrument is suitable for outdoor use, as the 1-phase power-meter has a fold-out stand and can do local measurements. Ergonomically and equipped with a large graphic-display the 1-phase power-meter automatically recognises the connected current transducer type. Whether it’s the alternating rms for AC and DC, the peak value or the total harmonic-wave value, the 1-phase power-meter shows every data via graphic display in wave form. Measurement of short-timed power line-flickers is performable as well. All required measuring units for Single-phase-networks and symmetric three-phase-currents are provided by the 1-phase power-meter in order to obtain a broad image of the energy-power. With the 1-phase power-meter harmonic waves with an order up to 50 are individually measurable. Another plus-factor: in expert mode the 1-phase power-meter can detect the direction of the harmonic wave as well. Every data collected in days can be stored in the power-meter. With the Inrush-mode the motor start-up current can be analysed exactly and displayed in periodic exactitude. With its compact and impact-resistant anisotropic liquid-LCD-display as well as with its ergonomic controlling interface, the 1-phase power-meter is easy and intuitively to handle.
