The Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 exploits the optical characteristics of surfaces to reflect light. When a light beam hits the surface, e.g. a lacquer coat, at a defined angle, the larger part of it will penetrate the lacquer coat while the rest will be reflected. Due to the difference between absorbed and reflected light the Gloss-Meter calculates the gloss level of the surface. This new generation of Gloss-Meters is equipped with an OLED display in order to depict all measuring data directly and legibly on the Gloss-Meter. The operator convenience of the Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 catches one's eye, especially due to a switch for sinistrals, which allows even then a comfortable handling. Furthermore all measured data of the Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 can be stored on a memory card and simply be analysed on a computer via the software included in delivery. Once there is no computer available all data can even be revised on the Gloss-Meter itself and partially be analysed via the statistics function. A tremendously large measuring range of up to 2000 gloss levels allows the analysis of almost any surface via the Gloss-Meter. Low weight and smallest dimensions make working with the Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 simple and efficient. The measuring system with high long-term stability of the Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 guarantee a constant measuring accuracy and thus reliable measuring results. The integrated self-diagnosis in the Gloss-Meter ZGM 1110 prevents faulty measurements.
