Hand- viscometer (ATEX- approved) for practitioners on-site in areas of petrochemistry, food industry and in the transportation industry / total mobile viscosity determination / no-preparation of samples necessary / data storage and Bluetooth

The portable hand- viscometer equipped with an insertion-probe is customized for viscosity determination in containers (to 6 m depth). Therefore the hand viscometer is applicable directly without any sample preparation. Immediately after submerging the measuring sensor, viscosity and temperature are being determined. 1980 sets of measuring data (including date and time) can be stored in the hand-viscometer and due to an integrated Bluetooth interface eligibly transferred to a PC or laptop. The measuring device even withstands rough surrounding conditions (-40…+85 °C). For measurement at night the background lightening is very helpful. The viscometer is mainly used in the petroleum processing industry. But it is also applicable in the food industry in fields of transportation. A viscosity measurement directly on-site in the container or tank makes the hand- viscometer effective and thus spares time and money. The measuring device is ATEX approved.
