This IP Tester is used to install and maintain local area networks (LAN). The Ping function at the IP Tester (Psiber) allows connection checks, integration tests for sent and received data, a network capacity or processor load measurement and recognition of doubled IP-addresses. Furthermore the IP tester provides the MAC address of IP addresses and identifies poorly connected cable pairs, which often cause disturbances between the network. The DHCP client emulation allows logging into network, obtaining an IP address, recognizing server, display of IP address, gateway address or subnet mask.
