The manual testbed for tensile and compressive forces is a manually operated test bed to apply tensile or compressive forces up to 1000 N or 5000 N. The manual testbed is used for occasional material and construction tests e.g. during control of incoming goods or to monitor material quality during production processes. The frame of the manual testbed PCE-TF 2 is a "C" frame, which provides an open space on three sides whilst a maximized stability is assured. The traverse of both testbeds can be set in motion via a hand crank installed in the front. This assures a precise process for smaller measurements. Due to the large operation space and an extensive equipment the manual force testbeds can perform various tasks.
