The point force meter is a device for static measurement of compressive and traction forces. The point force meter is ideally applicable for temporary force measurement. Due to its low height the point force meter is very flexible and anywhere applicable, where common force gauges cannot be used anymore due to their construction height. And the point force meter is used anywhere, where forces are effective. As an example are to mention electrode pressures at point welding apparatus. The occurring force is initially absorbed by the point force meter and afterwards immediately transferred to the measuring clock that is equipped with zero correction and displays the measured force very accurately. Depending on the model there can be measured traction forces as well as pressure forces between 0 and 10,000 Newton.
