A tensile stress gauge is applied where low tensile stress on fibers, threads and fine wires is applied. Therefore the tensile stress gauge ZEF is supported by a LCD display that assures to show the measured values clearly and accurately. Such a tensile stress gauge is operated in various industrial fields. The tensile stress gauge ZEF in particular is applied for circular knitting and shows the results digitally unlike the tensile stress gauge ZF. The design is kept very simple and a measurement is significantly facilitated though the trapping bail. The trapping bail directs the measured good straight to a v-shaped guide roller. Afterwards the measurement can be performed. The tensile stress meter ZEF is available in various models with specific measuring ranges. Those measuring ranges are shown below.
