This universal testing machine ZPM is designed for force-distance (work) measurements or constant force measurement. Therefore the universal testing machine measures forces up to a value of 5000 N. The universal testing machine ZPM is primary controlled via a microprocessor. Furthermore it provides the possibility of controlling the universal testing machine via a computer. Thus the tear resistance, tensile and compression strength can be calculated easily. The delivery of the universal testing machine includes a software, supporting data processing and machine control. Thus the tests can be performed via the universal testing machine ZPM and afterwards transferred to a computer or laptop in order to evaluate the results by connecting the universal testing machine via USB cable to the relevant computer or laptop. The high transfer rate allows a quick and easy transfer. In order to read-out directly the determined measurement result, the universal testing machine is equipped with an LCD with a double-space index, which indicated force and path. The actuator of the universal testing machine are a ball screw, ball bushing bearing and tooth belt. Furthermore the universal testing meter is equipped with a removable load cell that is conceived to collect different measuring ranges up to a maximum of 3000 N. The standard model measures a range up to 3000 N. Additionally we offer different options that might also include smaller measuring ranges. In order to adjust the measuring range to the required standards, we keep the following options in stock: 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 N. The path gauging at the universal testing machine is performed by means of an encoder. The desired testing process can be generated by the user manually at a computer or an appropriate device.
