The low-frequency-analyzer ME3851A is used for measurements concerning electric smog in the sector of building biologists. With the aid of the low-frequency-analyzer, building biologists can detect electromagnetic fields. The frequency range lies between 5 Hz and 100 kHz. This low-frequency-analyzer has been developed for the introduction to AF- measurements technology. Besides the presentation of the low frequented alternating field on the display, the
low-frequency-analyzer gives an audio signal. The so-called Geiger-counter-effect helps the user identifying strong distribution sources. The frequency range of the low-frequency-analyzer ME3851A reaches from 0,1 V/m to 1999 V/m. Next to the measurement of alternating electric fields, the low-frequency-analyzer is applied to determine alternating magnetic fields.
