The Load Sensor SM Series for traction and compressive force has got an external loading cell and a separated display. With this load sensor, also called force sensor, a force that is impacting
the load sensor will be measured. Compressive forces as well as
traction forces can be measured with the Load Sensor SM Series. The Load Sensor SM Series attracts with a compact and strong construction. Load sensors are also suitable for weighting and indentification of torques (hinge moments). Besides that the Load Sensor SM Series attracts with a highly legible display and a maximum force measurement range up to 250 kN. The display gives not just information about current values but also a signal during exceeding the pre-programmed measurement value. The display is protected through IP 65 in the front. The Load Sensor SM Series can be placed into an electrical cabinet, easily. Due to this, a compressive force in a stationary press or traction force of a hydraulic cylinder can be measured easily. You won’t need any additional measurement cells. The Load Sensor SM Series can be integrated into machines or equipment. It is possible to screw a loop (for
traction measurements) or a clamping bolt (for compressive force measurements) into the designated thread of screws.

ISO calibration / certification

The certification includes a calibration with a control paper with all measured
results. The company's name and adress will also be inserted into the report.

Test
benches
This load sensor is able to be combined with one of the three test benches. Two
test benches are equipped with a hand wheel. The third test bench is a
motor-powered testing bay. The application always makes sense when product tests
will be made constantly and under equal conditions.
