With our solar analysers you can determine the photovoltaic cells efficiency. To do that, you have to input in the photovoltaic meter the surface of a photovoltaic cell and then you will receive solar radiation. The photovoltaic cells efficiency level will depend on diverse parameters. There are three photovoltaic cells types: Polycrystalline cells, monocrystalline cells and thin-coat solar cells which are different depending on their efficiency level. It is also important to bear in mind that the efficiency level of photovoltaic cells is lowered with the passing of time by some alterations of the used material. Dirtiness also affects the efficiency of the photovoltaic cells. With our solar analysers you will be able to test regularly your photovoltaic installations. |

Solar Radiation The higher energy content of solar radiation reaching the Earth's surface is in the visible and infrared spectrum as the UV is absorbed by the atmosphere. The solar radiation varies throughout the year due to the change experienced by the angle of light rays on the surface of the earth. The solar radiation is higher in summer than in winter because most perpendicular rays strike at this time of year.
